Project Overview

Danapani simplifies finance management for freelancers and small businesses. With Next.js SSR architecture and PostgreSQL on Neon, it provides balance tracking, income/expense logging, and client-side calculations via Redux Toolkit.

Freelancers and small businesses need simple, clear finance tracking without enterprise accounting software overhead.

My Role & Deliverables

Full-stack developer, solo build.

System Architecture & Technologies

Fully built in Next.js — frontend and backend both live in the Next.js app, using SSR for data handling instead of a separate backend service. Database is PostgreSQL hosted on Neon. Handles income/expense entries, bank account management, and balance tracking, with totals and summaries calculated client-side in JavaScript rather than via SQL aggregation.

Result & Project Status

Deployed, live smart finance tracking web application. Receipt/file attachment upload is not yet implemented — a natural next feature to add.
